Arsenal on the verge of agreeing personal terms with first summer signing

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Arsenal and the agents of Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu are involved in talks for a summer transfer.

According to the Belgian journalist, the Gunners are attempting to reach personal agreement before contacting Fenerbahce.

The 24-year-old, who was born in the Netherlands, currently plays for the Turkish national team and has received 15 caps since making his debut for the country in 2022.

His possible signing should strengthen Mikel Arteta’s team as they look to put up a strong fight for trophies next season.

This week, Arsenal’s objective will be to get ready for Sunday’s season-ending game against Everton and make sure they’re ready to take advantage of any mistakes made by Manchester City.

Ferdi Kadioglu to Arsenal?

But off the pitch, they are planning their moves for the summer transfer window in order to keep the team competitive once again.

Along with signing a striker and a midfielder, they are interested in signing a defender, most preferably a left-back.

Kadioglu has had a significant impact for Fenerbahçe this season, playing in 47 games in all competitions and demonstrating both his defensive and goal-scoring abilities.

Tottenham have shown interest in Arsenal target

For Kadioglu, who has drawn attention from many Premier League teams, including Tottenham Hotspur (according to HITC), a transfer to Arsenal could be a career changing move for him.

Given the rumours circulating about Oleksandr Zinchenko’s future, Arsenal’s successful pursuit of the gifted left-back is perceived as a calculated move to bolster their defensive lineup.

The defender will add depth and quality to the Arsenal squad and increase Arteta’s options.
