Alexander Nübel’s agent, Stefan Backs, has revealed that he’s looking for a new club for his client.
After two years on loan at Monaco, the 26-year-old goalkeeper wants to leave Bayern on a permanent basis.
“We’ve always said it doesn’t make sense for Alex to come back to Bayern while Manuel Neuer is still there. He’s fit again now. That’s why I’m looking for a new club for Alex – one that will take him as far as possible,” Nübel’s agent Stefan Backs told t-online.
“Criterion number one is that he has to play, criterion number two is at the highest possible level. That means preferably the Champions League or the Premier League. The Premier League or a club that plays internationally are possible targets.”
Nübel joined Bayern from Schalke in 2020. He made four appearances for the club in his first season at the Allianz Arena before going out on loan.
