Foot Mercato report that AC Milan is showing strong interest in highly Metz striker Georges Mikautadze (22). The 22-year-old has had an impressive season, scoring 24 goals and providing 8 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions. His performances have caught the attention of several clubs, including AC Milan and newly-promoted Premier League side Burnley.
Milan has made significant progress in their pursuit of Mikautadze, with a proposal of around €10 million on the table. Paolo Maldini, the technical director of AC Milan, has held multiple discussions with the player, indicating their serious intent. In the event of Metz’s promotion to Ligue 1, it is believed that Mikautadze could be loaned back to the club to continue his development.
Not only AC Milan, but Burnley and Vincent Kompany, have also expressed their admiration for Mikautadze’s talents. The young forward has garnered attention from various European clubs, and negotiations are ongoing to determine his future destination.
