Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund have conjured up a plan that will give them the chance to keep Jadon Sancho at the club beyond the summer.
The plan is to either bring Sancho back for another season on loan or to offer him in an exchange deal involving a player such as Donyell Malen. What helps the situation is that Sancho has no desire to return to Manchester United, whilst manager Erik ten Hag does not want him at the club either.
Since returning to the Bundesliga in January, Sancho has scored once and assisted once as well. It is clear that the 23-year-old has struggled for form and match fitness since returning but that has been due to his lack of playing time at his parent club due to being outcasted by ten Hag.
Dortmund currently have too many wingers and this is hindering the development of Karim Adeyemi, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Julien Duranville, the departure of the Malen could potentially give the other wingers a chance to impress.
