According to reports from Italy, Leonardo Bonucci is close to leaving Union Berlin to return to Italy.

Just six months after joining Union Berlin from Juventus, Leonardo Bonucci’s time in Germany seems to be coming to an end.
According to reports from Italy, Roma are making progress in their bid to sign the veteran centre-back.
As reported by Il Messagero, negotiations over a January move are in the final stages, with Roma hoping that the defender will arrive in the first week of January.
According to multiple reports, Roma are offering Bonucci a contract until the end of the season.
Union Berlin are said to be willing to let Bonucci go on a free transfer, with the former Juventus defender said to unhappy with his role in the squad.
