Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano lists SC Freiburg as one of the clubs interested in obtaining Manchester United right-back Hannibal Mejbri on loan.

Manchester United right back Hannibal Mebjri – having made just nine appearances for the English Red Devils this season – appears headed for a loan-out during the second half of the current campaign. Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that Bundesliga side SC Freiburg are among the candidates to secure the 20-year-old’s services.
The 27-times-capped Tunisian international will not be representing his country in next month’s Africa Cup of Nations after Tunisian head-coach Jalel Kadri and the player himself both agreed that a call-up would not be in Mejbri’s best interests. Freiburg will, per Romano, have to compete with other interested parties Olympique Lyon and FC Sevilla.
