With Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Bouna Sarr’s contracts expiring in the summer, Bayern Munich are open to allowing them to leave in the winter if they receive a suitable offer, according to Bild.
After a strong season last year, Choupo-Moting has fallen down the pecking order as expected after the arrival of Harry Kane at Bayern. Despite coach Thomas Tuchel appreciating the qualities that the 34-year-old brings to the squad, he no longer has a future at Bayern due to the rise of Mathys Tel.
If Bayern receives a suitable offer in January they will sell the striker as they need money for a centre-back or defensive midfielder.
While it has been clear for a while that Sarr does not have a future at Bayern, if they receive a fee for the 31-year-old in the winter he will also be allowed to leave. Since moving to Bayern in 2020, Sarr has only played 33 times having neither been favoured by Tuchel or Julian Nagelsmann.
