Serie A giants Juventus are interested in the possibility of signing Royal Antwerp midfielder Arthur Vermeeren.
There is currently a lingering possibility at Juve that Paul Pogba’s contract gets terminated after he tested positive for testosterone and as a result, the Bianconeri will dip in the January market for a potential replacement.
Sky Italia state that Juve aren’t looking to spend a huge amount in January due to budgetary reasons, even though they would attempt to sign someone on loan. But a club scout was recently watching the Champions League clash involving Royal Antwerp and Shakhtar Donetsk.
There was keen focus on 18-year-old Vermeeren, who also interests Barcelona. He could be someone that Juve move for in the winter transfer window, with the Old Lady also looking tabs on Shakhtar’s Georgiy Sudakov. Signing him on loan would be difficult because he recently signed a new deal with his club, but he is on Cristiano Guintoli’s shortist regardless.
