Lille winger Alan Virginuis (20) has decided to stay at Lille despite Troyes and Angers being interested in the player, this is according to RMC Sport. Having joined from Sochaux last season, the Frenchman wants to stay and fight for his place at the club.
His coach Paulo Fonseca opened the door to his departure from LOSC in a press conference, saying: “He’s a player who needs to play and I don’t think he’ll be able to do that here. I’ve spoken to him. I think the best solution is for him to play for another club.”
Virginuis has made 19 appearances for Lille and scored one goal since joining from Sochaux.
