Alphonso Davies has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich after recently putting his contract talks with the German champions over a deal beyond 2025 on hold.
Real Madrid are said to be among the suitors for the Canadian international, and his agent, Nick Huoseh, is “proud” of the rumors.
“Real Madrid is a big club. I’ve always been a fan,” Huoseh said in an interview with Fabrizio Romano.
“Not to take anything away from Bayern, they’re a big club. But Real is a big name, big brand, 14 CL’s. When you hear the rumours about interest in a player you manage, it makes you proud.”
Davies himself recently commented on his situation in an interview with Canadian broadcaster TZN, saying:
“The transfer rumors are out there, but at the end of the day they’re still rumours. I still have two years left at Bayern. My main goal is to play at Bayern and help the team as much as possible.
“It’s a turnover situation right now [at Bayern], you can see there is change in management, but that doesn’t really affect the players. For me it’s important to play for the club I’m at.”
