Sport1 reports that Simon Terodde is attracting interest from 2.Bundesliga clubs Fortuna Düsseldorf and Hannover 96 as he will leave Schalke at the end of the season.
As well as the aforementioned clubs, Terodde has received enquiries from the Championship in England which the 34-year-old sees as a possible move. The striker will wait to make his decision as he wants to help Schalke retain their Bundesliga status this season.
In April, Terodde announced that he would leave Schalke when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Terodde was also recently linked to 3. Liga club Rot Weiß Essen but the rumour was quickly shut down as Essen could not financially afford a move, while they also have a rivalry with Schalke.
The 34-year-old is the all-time top goal scorer in the 2.Bundesliga with 172 goals. He has helped Schalke, 1.FC Köln and VfB Stuttgart all earn promotion to the Bundesliga. While Terodde has also played for Bochum and Hamburg during their stints in the second division.
