Swiss newspaper “Blick” reports that VfL Bochum are set to sign former Swiss youth international Noah Loosli on a free for next season.

After eight seasons spent playing in the Swiss league, 26-year-old central defender Noah Loosli looks to be headed up north to the Bundesrepublik. Swiss daily “Blick” reports that VfL Bochum are close to acquiring the former Swiss youth international on a free transfer for next season. Loosli currently plays for Grasshoppers Zürich, whom he also joined on a free just prior to the 2021/22 campaign.

Loosli came up through the GCZ academy initially. At his peak, whilst playing for FC Lausanne Sport during the 2020/21 season, Loosli was considered a €1.5 million player. His present estimated market worth stands at €600,000 in the latest transfermarkt listings. Loosli has made 20 appearances across all competitions for the Hoppers this season. He’s registered one assist in the Swiss Super League.
