There has been no contact between Inter and Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku.
It has been reported recently that Chelsea have now opened up to the possibility of loaning out Lukaku this summer. But the deal is still complicated as both clubs will have to find an agreement on the temporary move.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that thus far, there has been no contact between the two clubs for the deal and no meeting has been scheduled so far. While Inter’s Piero Ausilio was in London recently, he was not there to talk to the Blues about the loan deal and he was there for other events in the transfer window.
It was previously suggested that once Chelsea agree to let Lukaku leave, they will talk to Inter to discuss the terms of the move. But more updates are expected on this front, with Lukaku willing to take a wage cut.
