Loïc Badé is very close to completing his move to Sevilla from Rennes, report Mundo Deportivo.
The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest from the Ligue 1 side, but has failed to make a single appearance this season for the The Tricky Trees.
It appears as though Loïc Badé will almost certainly join Sevilla this January, becoming Los Nervionenses’ first signing of the winter transfer window.
In a recent interview, Rennes coach Bruno Genesio confirmed the rumours:
“It would be good for him. They are a good team, although they are struggling in the league this year.”
It is believed that Badé would join Sevilla on loan, with the Andalucían side having the option to purchase the Frenchman permanently at the end of the season for €15m.
Los Nervionenses will be keen to sign reinforcements for their defensive line following Marcão’s injury, who is set to be sidelined for at least three months.
