Argentina took the lead when Lionel Messi scored from the penalty spot after Ousmane Dembélé fouled the impressive Ángel Di María in the box.
Dembélé was taken off by France head coach Didier Deschamps after just 40 minutes into the final and we have looked at a dismal display by the Barcelona winger.
