Spain play Japan later today in the final round of the World Cup group stages.
A draw will secure Spain a place in the round of last 16 regardless of what happens in the match between Germany and Costa Rica, which will take place at the same time.
Luis Enrique is expected to make a couple of changes to the side that beat Germany. Koke will most likely start ahead of Gavi in midfield as the 18-year-old picked up a knock on Saturday.
Álvaro Morata, who scored in each of Spain’s games off the bench, will probably start as the team’s main centre-forward.
Predicted Spain lineup against Japan
AS predict that Luis Enrique will field the following starting XI against Japan: Unai Simón – Dani Carvajal, Eric García, Aymeric Laporte, Jordi Alba – Koke, Sergio Busquets, Pedri – Marco Asensio, Álvaro Morata, Ferran Torres.
The match is set to kick-off at 8 pm CET.
