Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has now returned to Bianconeri training ahead of the club’s Serie A game against Empoli.
While Pogba had previously started running exercises, Romeo Agresti has reported that the Frenchman has returned to training with the first-team, even though he trained only partially today.
The midfielder had returned to Juve in the summer after his contract at Manchester United expired and during pre-season training, he had picked up a meniscus injury. Due to risks involving missing the FIFA World Cup, he initially opted for conservative therapy but he later had to undergo surgery.
It is now expected that he will feature in the FIFA World Cup for France, with Ngolo Kante already having picked up an injury and set to miss the World Cup. Federico Chiesa is also injured for Juve, with the Italian reportedly said to be in line to be on the bench in the game against Empoli.
