Having initially broken through, benefitting from a lack of competition following the mass exodus over the summer, Olympique de Marseille’s youngsters are suffering setbacks.
Keyliane Abdallah found himself in the crosshairs of Bruno Genesio over the weekend due to his poor performance off the bench against Le Havre AC. He has also been demoted to the reserve side, from where he will have to force his way back into the manager’s plans.
Tadjidine Mmadi (19) is another of those to have made a breakthrough this season. He has made three appearances in all competitions (two in Ligue 1 and one in the UEFA Europa League), all of which have come off the bench.
The France youth international may leave the club during the January transfer window, as per a report from La Provence. The publication understands that OM are considering a loan in order to give the winger more minutes.
