Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly made FC Barcelona’s Eric García (25) their top target for the 2027 summer transfer window, according to Le Parisien.
A versatile player capable of playing both in the centre of defence and on the flanks, the Spaniard is said to be favoured by Luis Enrique, who is keen to bring him to the French capital next summer. PSG could even table an offer valued at €70m to their Catalan counterparts in a bid to secure the deal.
Under contract with Barça until 2031, García has established himself as a key member of Hansi Flick’s squad. Having made 51 appearances across all competitions last season (47 as a starter), the 2026 World Cup winner has kicked off his 2026-27 campaign by starting each of the eight matches he has featured in so far.
Having come through the Blaugranas’ youth ranks, García left Catalonia in 2017 to join Manchester City and complete his development there. Returning to Barcelona in 2021, where he initially struggled to break into the first team, the Spanish international (22 caps) subsequently enjoyed a successful loan spell at Girona during the 2023-24 season.
