Although a summer move to Borussia Dortmund failed to materialise, Marcel Regula remains high on the Black and Yellows’ shortlist, according to Sky Germany.
The German broadcaster reports that BVB officials Ole Book and David Blachman held a discreet meeting with representatives of the Zagłębie Lubin player last Thursday.
Whether a deal can be completed as early as the upcoming winter transfer window depends on several factors, including Regula’s development, his club’s asking price and Dortmund’s squad planning.
A potential transfer fee has previously been reported to be in the region of €7-8 million.
