WWE’s Favourites to Win Ladder Matches Leaked

WWE is gearing up for Money in the Bank this weekend, and with speculation heating up over who will seize a coveted briefcase, a new report has shed light on the favourites in both the men’s and women’s ladder matches.

Money in the Bank is one of the most anticipated events of the year for WWE fans, with the outcomes shaping storylines for months.

The 2025 show proved just that, with men’s winner Seth Rollins and women’s champ Naomi both cashing in dramatic circumstances to become world champions.

Rollins waited until SummerSlam two months after his victory in July 2025, cashing in after feigning an injury to pin CM Punk and become champion.

Naomi also used the element of surprise, pinning IYO Sky at WWE Evolution after the champion had seemingly emerged the victor in an exhausting battle with Rhea Ripley.

Favourites For Money in the Bank Matches

A star-studded fight card has been announced for this year’s Money in the Bank, with CM Punk, Trick WIlliams, Bron Breakker, Kevin Owens, Penta, and Je’Von Evans competing in the men’s ladder match, while Jacy Jayne, Tiffany Stratton, Lash Legend, Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, and Lola Vice will fight for the briefcase in the women’s ladder match.

Now, a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has revealed the leading contenders to triumph in both the men’s and women’s events.

Ringside News transcribed the report as follows: “Men’s Money in the Bank: Penta and Bron Breakker are the top favourites. Women’s Money in the Bank: Roxanne Perez and Lash Legend are the top favourites.”

Neither Penta nor Breakker have ever been WWE undisputed champions, so a victory at Money in the Bank could set them on the trajectory for a first title and boost their status in the promotion, particularly in the case of Penta, who only arrived on the WWE scene last year.

Veterans CM Punk and Kevin Owens have been deemed unlikely winners, with WrestleVotes indicating the WWE is looking to further develop the Undisputed WWE Championship storyline on SmackDown.

With Punk and Owens already key challengers to Sami Zayn’s title, the possibility of throwing another name into the mix, either Penta, Breakker, or even Trick Williams, would add another dimension to the title fight.

In the women’s match, Legend is competing in her first-ever Money in the Bank, while Perez was involved in the ladder match in 2025.

For Perez, a victory could hint at a future showdown with her Judgment Day teammate Liv Morgan, if she were to regain the Women’s World Championship.

All will be revealed come Saturday at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, and do not count out WWE throwing a spanner in the works.
