Nottingham Forest have established fresh contact with the entourage of Davide Frattesi, as the Premier League side intensifies its pursuit of the Inter midfielder.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the English club is currently leading the race for the Italian international, who has struggled for consistent game time at San Siro this season. Forest are looking to capitalize on his situation, positioning themselves at the front of the queue ahead of other potential suitors.
Inter’s stance remains firm regarding the valuation of the former Sassuolo man. The Nerazzurri are demanding a fee of €35m to sanction a departure, a figure that Forest must now navigate to bring the player to the City Ground.
Further contacts between the parties are expected in the coming days as Nottingham Forest attempt to bridge the final gaps and close the deal. No offer is on Inter’s table but with Frattesi keen to find more regular minutes, the next round of discussions could prove decisive in bringing him to the Premier League.
