Two big names could be about to walk through the door at Le Havre AC. Romain Faivre is set for a medical with Les Ciel et Marines ahead of joining on loan from Bournemouth, as per a report from Marc Mechenoua, and Sofiane Boufal (32) could be about to join him in Normandy, as per Foot Mercato.
Le Havre are looking to once again secure their survival in France’s top-flight. With limited means, they are looking to strengthen their side this month and are in the market for opportunities. Having terminated his contract at Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise earlier this month, Boufal is certainly one of those, and his arrival is drawing closer, Foot Mercato understands.
Prior to departing USG, he made 15 appearances in all competitions this season. Last season, he was a more essential figure, playing 25 games for the club as they secured qualification for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.
Foot Mercato understands that a deal for Boufal could be concluded imminently, and like Faivre, he could soon be en route for his medical.
