Borussia Mönchengladbach can imagine keeping Haris Tabakovic, but everything is still completely open.
According to Sky Germany’s latest update, talks with TSG Hoffenheim and the player’s representatives are planned to take place.
Tabakovic is on loan with the Foals until the end of the 2025-26 season, with no option to buy included in the deal.
Once such issue hindering a potential move is that five strikers are already under contract for the Rhineland club.
Tim Kleindienst (contract until 2029), Shuto Machino (2029), Grant-Leon Ranos (2027) and Jan Urbich (2027) means a lot of cover in his position.
Regardless, the Bosnia-Herzegovina marksman has proven his worth in the absence of their injury-hit skipper Kleindienst.
In the Bundesliga this season, the 31-year-old has found the net on seven occasions and provided two assists.
