Angelo Stiller’s strong and consistent performances for VfB Stuttgart have seen him frequently linked with top European clubs.
Chema Andrés, who plays with Stiller at the Swabian club, has backed the 24-year-old to make the step up to a top club like Real Madrid, where the Spaniard used to play himself.
“On the pitch, he’s the cornerstone of Stuttgart. He dictates the play, runs the show,” Andrés told AS about his teammate.
“He’s spectacular – not just with the ball, but defensively too. He definitely has the level to step up to a top team.”
Stiller has featured regularly for the German national team since Julian Nagelsmann took over as head coach.
However, to the surprise of Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeneß and his teammates, he was left out of the squad this month.
