Germany travel to face Luxembourg aiming to take another big step towards automatic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They currently lead Group A on goal difference and know that a win tonight would keep them firmly in control.
Luxembourg, meanwhile, have been eliminated from contention and are playing for pride. Their defence has leaked goals in recent games, which puts them under extra pressure against a confident German side.
Ahead of the game, Nico Schlotterbeck and Joshua Kimmich have been confirmed to miss the match due to minor injuries. This results in Jonathan Tah being Germany’s captain for the very first time!
With just about an hour to go, here are the confirmed lineups for this matchup:
Confirmed lineups:
Germany (4-2-3-1):
Baumann – Baku, Tah, Anton, Raum – Pavlović, Goretzka – Sané, Wirtz, Gnabry – Woltemade
Luxembourg (5-4-1):
Moris – Jans, Korać, Martins, Carlson, Bohnert – Sinani, Thill, Barreiro, Olesen – Dardari
