When asked whether Bayern Munich were currently the best team in Europe, PSG star Vitinha responded evasively, but respectfully:
“We’ll know the answer to that tomorrow. It’s better to talk on the pitch, not here. I agree with you – currently we have the two best teams in Europe.
“Bayern are in great form, just like us. We’re putting in very good performances,” the midfielder said at PSG’s press conference.
Although hungry to win tomorrow night, the Portuguese maestro urged caution especially around players like Harry Kane.
“He [Kane] is one of the best players in the world, an incredible striker. His stats are unbelievable, and he has started this season with incredible statistics as well.
“Bayern has many great players like Kane, but they also play as a strong collective – that is the biggest challenge. Whoever wins tomorrow is the best,” Vitinha added.
