It is very clear now that Como are in the market for a winger. They have been on the pursuit of Antony from Manchester United but it does seem that the Brazilian would want a permanent move to Real Betis, where he has been on loan since January. Curiously, two other Betis wingers Jesus Rodriguez and Abde Ezzalzouli have also been linked to them.
Now however it has been reported by calciomercato.com, they seem to have prioritised Andreas Schjelderup of Benfica. The Danish winger has had a really impressive season in Portugal and from his talent it does seem that he could go up another level under the guidance of Cesc Fabregas.
Como have already made contact with Benfica with Schjelderup but it is highly unlikely that anything happens before the Lisbon club are done with their Club World Cup commitments. Schjelderup has already made an impact in the tournament, scoring against Bayern Munich.
