Bayern München have opened talks to extend Lucas Hernandez’s contract, according to Bild.
The German tabloid claims that Bayern board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic have met with Hernandez’s agent about the possibility of tying the French defender down to a new deal.
Hernandez joined Bayern from Atlético Madrid for €80 million in 2019, penning a deal until 2024.
Since then, he has featured a total of 102 times for the German champions, scoring once and making eight assists.
