
Arsenal will pay in excess of €60m (£51m) to secure the signing of Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
The Gunners are reportedly set to spend slightly more than the ‘world-class’ Spanish international’s release clause, with the higher fee allowing them to pay in instalments.
According to Romano, both clubs share an excellent relationship, and a deal for Zubimendi is expected to be finalised soon, potentially making him Arsenal’s first signing of the summer:
