The Brittany club could profit handsomely if the rumours are indeed accurate.
According to a report from Ouest France, Bayern Munich will not recoup the entire transfer fee received for Mathys Tel.
The French news source is reporting that Stade Rennes are entitled to a 25 per-cent share of the profits made on the attacker.
Amid the 2021-22 season, Tel made 7 appearances for club from Brittany before joining the Bavarians.
The report is aware that part of Bayern’s €28.5million deal for Tel involved a sell on clause for the Ligue 1 side.
If true, Die Rekordmeister could potentially owe Rennes up to around €7.5million of the €30million fee Spurs paid for his services.
