James McAtee is once again being linked with a move to Bayer Leverkusen.
During the winter transfer window, Bayer Leverkusen were heavily linked with a move for Manchester City’s James McAtee, but nothing materialized at the time.
Now, according to Sky Sports, Die Werkself are set to reignite their interest in the 22-year-old.
The report claims that Leverkusen are expected to make an offer once the transfer window reopens, with McAtee reportedly keen on the move.
The Bundesliga outfit are looking to strengthen their attacking options with Florian Wirtz’s big-money move to Liverpool on the brink of completion.
Sky Sports cites one source claiming the midfielder has been valued at around €30 million, though others suggest Man City would demand a significantly higher fee.
McAtee is currently captaining England at the U21 European Championship.
