Joshua Kimmich has reportedly turned down interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich has made it clear that he’s not interested in a move to Paris Saint-Germain, according to Sky Germany.
The French champions have reportedly been looking into the possibility of bringing Kimmich to Paris, but the report claims he’s determined to stay at Bayern.
With Kimmich’s contract expiring in 2025, the Bavarians are keen to tie him down to a new deal to avoid losing him for free next summer.
According to Sky Germany, a contract extension with a pay cut appears to be a possibility, but a decision isn’t just around the corner.
Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl recently confirmed that Bayern are in talks with Kimmich about a contract extension.
“There was a first exchange about a contract extension with Joshua,” Eberl revealed at a press conference on Sunday.
“It was a very good and positive discussion. We will have further talks,” he added.
