Serie A side Bologna have faced disappointment in their move for German defender Mats Hummels.
The Rossoblu had attempted to make an ambitious move for the defender, offering him regular first-team football and the Champions League as well. But it doesn’t seem as if the move has worked out in anyway, as Hummels took a lot of time in making a decision.
Sky Italia have stated that Bologna have faced rejection in the move and they have also decided to move away from the chase. Hummels took a lot of time in making a decision and Bologna couldn’t wait for too much more time and there is now no room to meet halfway in the talks.
There is still a possibility of Hummels playing in Serie A next season. There is interest from Roma, but there is no offer. Milan are also keeping tabs on him and Hummels’ arrival would depend on the exit of another defender.
