Forbes has released their ‘rich list’ rankings of the world’s most valuable football teams for 2024, with Real Madrid topping the list for the third year in a row.
The Madrid giants are valued at $6.6 Billion, which is a 9% increase on the value from last year.
One of the main drivers of this growth is likely the heavy investment which has been put into the Santiago Bernabéu, which now allows it to host not only football matches but major concerts and events as well.
This figure will likely only increase if Real Madrid are able to claim their 15th Champions League title on June 1, with the winners receiving €20 Million, according to Diario AS.
Also present in the top 10, in third place, are Barcelona, who are valued at $5.6 Billion, a 2% increase from 2023.
The only other La Liga team present in the top 30 list is Atlético Madrid, who are in 13th place, valued at $1.6 Billion.
