A fresh insight into the summer transfer plans of La Liga giants Barcelona has this week been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards Barca head coach Xavi as having identified three potential additions, and three departures to and from his squad.
The latter would come in a bid to raise funds for incomings, by way of a trio of high-profile sales.
Though the first priority is to attempt to shift some of the deadwood from the Blaugrana’s ranks, in the end, decisions will need to be made on some of the starting-calibre figures under Xavi’s watch.
And, in the case that the money would be put directly towards his three leading targets, Barca’s boss would be willing to green light exits for all of Frenkie de Jong, Raphinha, and Ronald Araújo.
Sport, in turn, add that:
“In exchange for these departures, there would be the arrivals of Nico Williams, Joshua Kimmich, and Bernardo Silva.”
“Xavi would sign that” without a 2nd thought, it is reiterated.
Whatever the case, a busy summer certainly looks set to be in store for Deco and the transfer team in Catalunya’s capital…
