Former Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimović returned to the Milanello today to help his former club following a shattering defeat to Inter.
Milan lost 5-1 to Inter at the weekend and they have never lost five derbies in a row in their entire history. La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Ibra has decided to lend a hand to the Rossoneri after the recent loss, especially with a vital game against Newcastle United coming up in midweek.
During training today, Zlatan spoke at length with manager Stefano Pioli and the chance to bring him back as a potential locker room presence is similar to how they brought him back as a player in 2019. The Swede finds it appropriate that once again, in time of need, he helps out the club and steps into the locker room.
Milan take on Newcastle at the San Siro tomorrow evening and it remains to be seen if Sandro Tonali is available for the game or not.
