Mainz 05 will have to manage without club captain Silvan Widmer when they face Union Berlin in the Bundesliga tomorrow.
As confirmed by the club today, the 29-year-old will not be available after picking up an injury against Bayern Munich in mid-week.
Danny da Costa is likely to deputize for Widmer after replacing him towards the end of the first half against Bayern.
Mainz also confirmed that Robin Zentner remains sidelined, meaning that Finn Dahmen will be in goal for the fifth successive game.
‘Die Nullfünfer’ sit 11th before tomorrow’s game.
