According to the Daily Mail, Declan Rice would rather stay in England than join Bayern Munich. But according to Bild, the German champions remain hopeful of bringing the West Ham star to Germany.

Bayern Munich have been heavily linked with a move for West Ham captain Declan Rice in recent weeks.

However, their chances of bringing Rice to Germany appear to be diminishing, at least according to a report in the Daily Mail, which claims that the England international would prefer to stay in the Premier League.

The British tabloid names Arsenal as the favorites to sign Rice and claims that the Gunners are preparing a €105 million offer.

However, according to Bild, Bayern have not received a rejection from Rice and remain hopeful of landing the 24-year-old defensive midfielder.
