West Ham and Crystal Palace will go head-to-head in the Premier League at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon with big pressure on Graham Potter after a slow start.
The Hammers have lost three out of four games so far in the top-flight following a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last time out, while Oliver Glasner’s side are currently unbeaten after a 0-0 draw with Sunderland last weekend, while they beat local rivals Millwall in the Carabao Cup in midweek on penalties to progress to the fourth round.
Both sides have some big decisions to make with their team and this is how GIVEMESPORT expect the teams to line up.
West Ham Team News
The Irons will be without influential Czech midfielder Tomas Soucek for this game after his red card in the defeat to Tottenham last week means he will be suspended for the next three games.
Luis Guilherme was fit enough for the bench last week following a clavicle fracture, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka is out after withdrawing from the substitute options due to illness during the warm-up.

Potter Drops Team News Update
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Potter shared an update on his squad ahead of the game.
“Aaron Wan-Bissaka will still be unavailable. It’s a problem with his stomach. Hopefully, he’ll be in light training tomorrow (Friday) or the weekend, but he won’t be available [for the Palace game].’ ‘Apart from that, Callum Wilson has had a full week’s training, so it’s good for him, as has Niclas Fullkrug. So, we’re pretty much as we were.’
West Ham Predicted XI
- West Ham Predicted XI: Hermansen; Walker-Peters, Mavropanos, Kilman, Diouf; Ward-Prowse, Fernandes; Bowen, Paqueta, Summerville; Fullkrug.
- West Ham Predicted Substitutes: Areola (GK), Todibo (DEF), Igor (DEF), Rodriguez (MID), Potts (MID), Magassa (MID), Irving (MID), Wilson (FWD), Guilherme (FWD).
Potter is under pressure to get results quickly, with Slaven Bilic linked with a shock return to take over should be sacked, and that could see him go with an attacking lineup.
Niclas Fullkrug should come into the side to replace the suspended Soucek and provide a focal point up front while Mads Hermansen should keep his place in goal, leaving £200,000-a-week duo Alphonse Areola and Jean-Clair Todibo on the substitutes bench.
Crystal Palace Team News
The Eagles are in fantastic form at the moment, but they have got a number of injury issues that they are dealing with currently. Adam Wharton and Eddie Nketiah could return following spells out, but Ismaila Sarr is still unavailable with a hamstring problem.
Chadi Riad, Cheick Doucoure, Odsonne Edouard and Caleb Kporha are all longer-term absentees and won’t feature.

Glasner Drops Team News Update
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Glasner shared an update on his squad ahead of the game.
“We start with the negative: Walter Benítez was injured the day after the Millwall game.
“He dislocated his little finger, and he needs to rest now, so he will miss West Ham and Liverpool. We are hopeful he can come back after the Liverpool game.
“The positive news is Adam Wharton and Eddie Nketiah are back in the squad tomorrow. We have no other injuries from the Millwall game, so that’s the positive part.
“I think Adam is fit enough to start. He just missed two weeks, 10 days, and then he started his training on the pitch, and he is with us now for a few days.
“Eddie is a bit different. He missed all the pre-season, but he looked very good in training today and on Wednesday, when we had a really intense session, so let’s see how the game is going, but those players looked very sharp in training.
“Big credit to our medical department. The players worked really hard – it started with Daichi Kamada and also Eddie and Adam. Also, Ismaïla [Sarr] will start to train with us on Sunday after the West Ham game.
“Everyone is coming back earlier than expected, so credit to the medical staff.”
Crystal Palace Predicted XI
- Crystal Palace Predicted XI: Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Hughes, Lerma, Mitchell; Kamada, Mateta, Pino.
- Crystal Palace Predicted Substitutes: Benitez (GK), Sosa (DEF), Clyne (DEF), Canvot (DEF), Cardines (MID), Devenny (MID), Rodney (MID), Esse (FWD), Uche (FWD).
Palace are known for keeping their lineup very similar unless being forced to make changes, and that should see an unchanged lineup from the last Premier League game.
After Glasner’s criticism in midweek Romain Esse is likely to be back on the bench, where he will likely be joined by £107,000-a-week duo Nathaniel Clyne and Borna Sosa.
