West Ham United have entered into talks with Premier League rivals Chelsea over the loan signing of Axel Disasi (27), according to L’Equipe. The France international is looking for a way out of Stamford Bridge after being frozen out by Enzo Maresca. Although Liam Rosenior opted to offer Disasi a route back into first-team training with Chelsea, Disasi is expected to leave the Blues.
Chelsea have recalled Aaron Anselmino from his loan at Borussia Dortmund, which means they have now opened a slot to allow one of their players to leave on a temporary basis. West Ham are reportedly one of the sides interested in offering Disasi his first senior minutes this season. The Hammers have opened talks with their London-based counterparts. Disasi remains tied with Chelsea over a contract set to expire in 2029.
