Nicolai Rapp is leaving Werder Bremen to join Kaiserslautern on loan.
Werder Bremen have confirmed that a deal is in place to send 26-year-old midfielder Nicolai Rapp out on loan to Kaiserslautern.
With just the formalities left to complete, Rapp is on his way to Kaiserslautern and will not be travelling with the Green-Whites to their upcoming training camp.
“‘Rappo’ approached us because he wants more playing time than he has been given recently,” said Werder Bremen head of scouting and professional football Clemens Fritz before the team’s departure to Spain today.
“With the loan to Kaiserslautern, we want to make this possible for him, but we also still see the potential in him to make more appearances in the Bundesliga.”
Rapp has played a total of 67 minutes for Werder this season.
