Harry Kane scored twice as Bayern Munich cruised to a 5-1 victory over Cypriot champions Pafos in their second Champions League match of the season on Tuesday night.
After being named Player of the Match, Kane reflected on the game in an interview with Cypriot outlet CYTA.
“We came out with real intensity. We got early goals, which is important in a game like this,” the England captain said.
“Overall, we deserved the win and to keep up the momentum. It’s nice to get a couple of goals today and help the team.”
Kane’s brace on Tuesday takes his tally to 17 goals in just nine games for Bayern in all competitions this season.
