Vinicius Jr’s Full 11-Word Outburst at Lamine Yamal During Real Madrid vs Barcelona

Real Madrid moved to the top of La Liga with a dramatic 2-1 victory against arch-rivals Barcelona on Sunday afternoon. As is often the case, El Clasico ended in a heated confrontation between both sets of players, with Lamine Yamal and Vinicius Junior in the thick of it.

Goals from Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham were enough to secure all three points for Xabi Alonso’s side in the Spanish capital after Fermin Lopez had pulled the visitors level in the first-half. Mbappe had the ball in the net a further two times, only to be denied by the offside flag.

The Frenchman even had a spot-kick saved in the second period, cementing an eventful afternoon for the striker. He’s quickly becoming the biggest star at the Santiago Bernabeu – overshadowing the likes of Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. The latter made sure he wasn’t overshadowed by his colleague, however, with his actions off the ball taking the spotlight.

Vinicius Jr Lays Into Lamine Yamal With Scathing Rant

Following the full-time whistle, a mass brawl erupted between both sets of players, sparked by Dani Carvajal’s gesture towards Spain international teammate Yamal. The Real Madrid skipper suggested the 18-year-old winger speaks too much after comments about Los Blancos ‘robbing’ in midweek.

While the veteran full-back then walked away from the situation, the knock-on effect was evident. More Real Madrid players – such as goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois – made their way towards Yamal to express their ill feelings towards the youngster. That caused chaos as Barcelona stars attempted to step in to defend their colleague.

As Yamal was being directed down the tunnel, Vinicius Jr desperately tried to get at his opposite winger. The Brazil international could be seen gesturing towards the Barcelona talisman, and exactly what he said was overhead. Per BarcaUniversal, he was heard screaming: “You only give back passes,” before echoing Carvajal’s sentiments:

Not backing down, Yamal fired straight back at the 25-year-old with an offer. He suggested: “Let’s meet outside and settle it.” The two men ultimately couldn’t get near one another due to the sheer number of bodies in between them, but that didn’t stop their explosive war of words. On this occasion, it was the home side that had the last laugh after Yamal’s controversial interview. However, it could always be a different story the next time they meet in La Liga, with Real still needing to visit Camp Nou.
