Victor Osimhen was at it again for Napoli in their Serie A game against Sassuolo, as he scored the Partenopei’s second goal at the Mapei.
One half of the famed duo at Napoli – Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, scored the first goal for the side and that was an incredible individual effort from the Gerogian. But Osimhen’s strike only minutes later was just as sensational, even though Andrea Consigli did make it easy for him.
Osimhen made a run between two centre-backs, held the ball away from them, made space for his shot and attempted for a goal from a tight angle. As a result of the goal, Osimhen etched history for the Partenopei.
Victor Osimhen made history with that goal. He is the only player in Napoli history to score in seven consecutive games. Goes past Gonzalo Higuain.
