VfB Stuttgart have had a €14m bid for PAOK striker Giannis Konstantelias rejected, according to Kicker.
The 22-year-old Greek international is of high interest to Stuttgart as they seek reinforcements up front.
Discussions have gone well with the player, who wishes to join the Swabians despite interest from clubs in England and Spain.
However, the Greek side are demanding at least €20m for their young forward.
Stuttgart are hoping that they can get a slightly lower fee and include fellow Greek, Thomas Kastanaras, as part of the deal. Kastanaras spent last season in the 3. Liga with Stuttgart II, playing 33 games and scoring seven goals.
It’s unclear whether PAOK would accept a lower transfer fee, as well as the promising youngster who hasn’t quite been tested at a higher level yet.
Konstantelias, on the other hand, is already playing for his country and scored seven goals from 27 Greek Super League matches last season, as well as three in the Europa League.
