Union Berlin are being linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund full-back Tom Rothe.
After impressing on loan at Holstein Kiel last season, Tom Rothe has returned to Borussia Dortmund.
Now he has reportedly attracted the interest of Union Berlin, with Bild claiming that the capital club have made a lucrative offer to the 19-year-old.
The young left-back could be brought in as a replacement for Robin Gosens, who is likely to leave the club.
However, Rothe has recently stated that he wants to try to make an impact at Dortmund.
“That was exactly the point of the loan, to get one year of match practice and then fight here again,” the defender said in an interview with the club.
“Now I want to step on the gas and show the new coach who I am and what I can do. That starts now and I’m looking forward to it. And then we’ll see what happens,” he added.
