Serie A side Udinese now seem set to seal a move for former Inter, Arsenal and Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean spent the previous season at Inter, where he played a role in winning the Scudetto after a spell at Marseille in France, where he also played in the Champions League.
Gianluca di Marzio has confirmed that Sanchez is now all but set to wear the Udinese jersey next season, as he returns to his former club and where he first rose to fame before the move to Barcelona. Final details of the move are now being ironed out and the move is pretty much done.
Sanchez has already made the decision to return, with the Chilean set to sign an initial one-year deal with the option for a second year.
Udinese and Sanchez’s agent are working on ironing out the last few details of the move and on the option that will trigger the extension. The club want to make sure that they sign the player by the 13th of August.
