Tottenham Eyeing Move to Sign ‘Exceptional’ £76m French Forward

Tottenham reportedly remain interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani to bolster their attacking options, after previously pursuing a deal for the player in the January transfer window, as per TBR Football.

Despite a dismal 17th-placed finish in the Premier League, Spurs rescued their season by winning the Europa League final against Manchester United, securing an unlikely return to the Champions League.

Chairman Daniel Levy decided to part ways with previous boss Ange Postecoglou anyway, and ex-Brentford tactician Thomas Frank has been brought in to lead the club’s new project. With fresh funds available, bolstering the forward line has emerged as a key priority, and Kolo Muani is believed to be among the players on their radar.

The Frenchman is keen to stay in Italy

As per TBR Football journalist Grame Bailey, Kolo Muani prefers to stay in Italy with Juventus despite links to the Premier League. The Frenchman joined the Turin outfit last winter on a loan from Paris Saint-Germain till the end of the season, and his spell was later extended till the end of the summer’s Club World Cup following some impressive performances.

He registered ten goals in 20 outings in the second half of last term, providing a further two assists for his teammates in the process. PSG will be looking to sell the player permanently after he returns following the end of his loan, but Juventus are thought to be seeking a loan deal instead.

If an agreement between the two clubs is not found, it could open the door for a club in England to step in. Tottenham were heavily linked with the player previously amid their injury crisis, and they have retained their interest in making the player a potential option in attack alongside the likes of Dominic Solanke and Heung-min Son.

PSG may struggle to recoup much of the £76.4 million they paid to Eintracht Frankfurt to sign the player in 2023, and reports suggest a fee between £50-£70 million is considered more likely for the 26-year-old.
