Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The contract of the Poland international with the Serie A club ends in 2024.
However, Juve have the option to hand Szczesny another 12-month deal and could activate it.
Nevertheless, failure to qualify for Europe next term after their point-deduction punishment could force their hands.
Juventus may have to sell Szczesny and some of their top players and earners to manage their finances.
Spurs are said to be monitoring the situation ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Old Lady are already preparing for the potential exit of the former Arsenal goalie.
They have identified Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and his Atalanta counterpart Marco Carnesecchi as probable replacements.
Tottenham are not the only club keen on Szczesny, and more suitors are expected to emerge for his services.
Given his past with the Gunners, joining their bitter north London rivals could prove to be an issue for the Juve star.
Spurs are looking for a new goalie with Frenchman Hugo Lloris out of contract in 2024.
The 36-year-old is currently out injured and Fraser Forster has played in his absence.
However, the former Southampton star has not been very convincing, and Szczesny would be an upgrade.
At 32, the Pole is a short-term solution and Tottenham should be looking at younger options and a long-term replacement.
Arsenal fans will not forgive Szczesny if he joins Spurs, and it will be intriguing to see how things go.
